Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Mykhailo Grushchyk ("we", "us"), the maker of FixWit. By installing or using FixWit you agree to them.

What FixWit does

FixWit is a Windows app that checks your computer for common problems and, with your permission, applies fixes from a fixed list. It shows what it will change before each fix and lets you undo changes afterwards. A few actions, such as deleting temporary files, can't be undone; the app says so and asks you separately before doing them.

Free and paid plans

• The free plan includes the check, internet fixes, one other fix, undo, and a small number of assistant messages each month.
• Plus is a subscription, paid yearly or monthly, for one or three computers. It includes all fixes and more assistant messages each month. Current prices are on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the app (Settings → Manage subscription); Plus then stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell you before a change applies to you.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Refunds are described in our refund policy.

The assistant

The assistant uses an AI service to answer your questions. It can only suggest fixes from the app's fixed list, and nothing runs until you press the button. Its answers may be incomplete or wrong; use your judgment.

Your responsibilities

Use FixWit only on computers you own or are allowed to manage. Don't try to bypass the plan limits, resell access, or interfere with our servers.

No warranty

We work hard to make every fix safe and reversible, and the app creates a Windows restore point before changes when Windows allows it. Still, FixWit is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
